blogging

i dont like "to blog"
personally i think it's a huge waste of time

some people ask why?
there are a multitude of reasons:
1. there are about a million more productive things to be doing, such as studying, learning guitar, working out, etc.
2. there is a 99% likelihood that no one besides your classmates will read your blog
3. no one cares what i think
4. due to the restrictions placed on this "blog" of mine, i am unable to post what i want
5. people bother me about my blog when i see them
6. any "original idea" you may have has already been posted about online, somewhere else
7. it is an obligation; something i am forced to do in order to preserve a grade which will show up on my transcript for college, which in turn will determine my entire life
8. it is pointless, will not help me later on
9. i will not be posting after the year is over, or whenever i am allowed to stop posting

those are just a couple reasons off the top of my head

so yeah, i dont like blogging at all
if you're reading this, you're wasting your time also.
go do something fun.

It's a shame that you have such a limited view of what you, your teachers and the education system in general have to offer. That you chose to believe that I would have you doing something "worthless" without first opening your mind to the possibility that I might actually have your best interest at heart is particularly tragic to me. If you approached this with even a partial open mind, perhaps you'll end up finding a voice and doing something valuable for yourself, your classmates and the global audience who may end up reading your blog.

By the way, someone who plays guitar in Seattle did read your blog and wrote me an e-mail about it. Just so you know...

I believe you do have something worthwhile to say. I believe that all of us in your immediate community could learn from you if you chose to share. I believe that you might make some valuable connections with the outside communities if you gave yourself a chance.

I also feel like it is a shame that you have a limited view on blogging. Blogging may be a hassle to write on constantly, but it is a nice thing to do once in a while to get in touch with the world.
